I am interested in some undeveloped land in the countryside. However, if this meets the minimum, is it acceptable as an investment so I can obtain Bulgarian citizenship? Can I develop on it? Are there any rules or regulations for or against such a process as an immigrant investor? Please advise.

In principle, real estate investments are not in the scope of the Bulgarian CBI program. There are workarounds though.
