I submitted my application for the investor visa category last December. I know that the immigration authorities in Italy are closed due to the virus outbreak. I would like to know when I can expect my application to be processed and get a result.

The law provides that your application should be processed within 30 days and that the Ministry has the discretion to request documents and information, in such a case an additional 30 days processing time is provided for. Due to the current emergency, it is likely that all applications have been put on hold. I suggest you contact directly the Ministry at urp@mise.gov.it .
