There are no restrictions for citizens of certain countries. However, the national security services may deem certain citizens to be a threat to the national security and consequentially deny them the possibility to obtain
Bulgarian citizenship. This can be avoided by applying with maximum legal compliance in mind and undergoing certified due diligence.
