Why are there restrictions on Ukrainians applying for Antigua and Barbuda’s program?

There are restrictions on all Ukrainians applying currently due to the difficulty of due diligence in Ukraine at present. There may be exceptions if a Ukrainian citizen is a citizen of another country and/or has been a legal resident of another country for some time, however, these are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Politically exposed persons from any country will face additional diligence in a citizenship application and in some cases may not be able to apply depending on level and nature of exposure.
