I’ve heard that U.S. citizens don’t even need a visa to enter Dominica and can stay in the country as long as they want. Does this visa free access also include buying property for the short term? What benefits do American investors get by opting for CBI in Dominica?

As an American, you can participate in either the CBI program or purchase your own property outside the CBI program. If you opt for the latter, then you would not qualify for Dominica's citizenship but if the former is chosen then you will qualify for Dominica's citizenship. Otherwise, you will be able to purchase property anytime outside of the CBI program.
