Travel to Italy, also for business reasons, are allowed under certain conditions which can vary depending on the country where the person is travelling from. Fully vaccinated people may be allowed to enter Italy even if they received their vaccine abroad; however, the vaccine should be one recognized by the EMA (not WHO) and they should hold a certificate proving the completion of the vaccination cycle. Notwithstanding the above, it is still necessary to check on a case-by-case basis from which country the person is travelling from because different rules apply even to fully vaccinated people.
