Maria Kannava has 15 years of experience practicing law. Her areas of focus include corporate law, banking law, civil litigation, family law, intellectual property, and probate law, specifically the administration of estates.

Kannava is an attorney and founding partner of Kannava, Kitromilidou & Co. LLC (KPK Legal) in Cyprus. Founded in 2010, KPK Legal advises individuals and corporate clients on all aspects of immigration, including citizenship applications, immigration permits, permanent resident permits, and employment permits.

She previously served as an advocate at Costantinos M. Hadjipieras Law Firm for 4 years, handling various litigation matters. She also served as a legal consultant and claims executive at Elias Marine Consultants Ltd., and an advocate for the firm’s litigation and intellectual property departments at Andreas Neocleous & Co. LLC, where she started her legal career. Kannava earned a Bachelor of Laws degree with honors from the University of Warwick and a Master of Laws degree in commercial law from the University of Bristol, both in England.

Kannava is a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and is authorized to practice as an insolvency practitioner (IP). She speaks English and Greek.
