Are there any limitations on setting up a business in Spain as a foreign investor?

I read about the possibility to get an investor visa by setting up a business. What are the requirements? Can I buy an existing business as well?

There are limitations if you want to work in Spain and you do not have a work permit. However, if you want to buy shares or real estate and you can prove the origin of the money, there is not. Just the usual bureaucracy.
