I submitted my Portuguese Golden Visa application two weeks ago with a property investment located in central Porto. Yesterday I learned that Portugal would no longer issue visas to investors who purchase real estate in the populated areas, including Porto. How could this impact my pending application?

If you have already collected your biometrics, your application is considered submitted under the current law.

Nothing will happen to your application. However, the reform has not yet come into force in Portugal. We only know that it will be carried out this year.
