After obtaining a Golden Visa from Portugal, when can I sell my investment without losing my status? Do the required maintaining periods vary with different investment options?

In general, investments must be maintained for five years. Only after that we advise selling the investment.

The investment must be maintained during the five years of the Golden Visa Program. At the end of the fifth years, you can choose to obtain the permanent residence permit or the Portuguese nationality. By then you will no longer need to maintain your investment.
