I’m a British retiree looking to invest in a seaside villa. I know the island is split into two administrations, but as a foreign investor looking to get real estate on good deals, which one offers the best value for money? What would you advise, if permanent residency as opposed to citizenship is the main goal?

Regarding residence permits granted by the Republic of Cyprus, you are only allowed to obtain the permit by buying property in the free part of the island.
