Do I have to have all the investment amount or is it possible to initiate the application without the full amount ready? I’m an investor so liquidity is an issue but I can have proof of funds based on the assets I own. Could this work?

Your application for Active Investor Plus will be approved in principle based on the assets you own and control. You will have 6 months to transfer and invest your funds in New Zealand. After your application has been approved in principle, you can apply for a work visa to come to New Zealand and arrange the transfer and investment of your funds.
