Currently, the cheapest option for Golden Visa is the cultural one with a donation of 200K euros. Although this possibility can be structured as an investment, the projects currently available are structured as donations.
Portugal’s cultural Golden Visa program offers two pathways: Artistic Production (investment in an artistic project) and Preserving Cultural Heritage (non-refundable donation to the maintenance of national heritage). To qualify for any of the options, you must invest at least €250,000 or €200,000 if located in low-density areas - this is the cheapest option. In the first option, it is possible to expect some return on the investment. The second option is a non-refundable donation, so there will be no return on the investment.
