Are there limitations regarding the type of property? Also, would I qualify for citizenship if the property is paid on a shared basis between me and my spouse? The total value of the property would be $900K and ownership would be equally divided among us. Does this make both of us eligible?

Unfortunately, subject to new practices, one property purchase permits only one CBI application in Turkey (no more split shareholding purchase value based applications). Therefore, you could purchase the property ($900k) for one spouse and then apply for citizenship for the purchasing applicant and also for the spouse and the children as dependents.
